Interested in writing computer programmes?
Enjoy Scratch programming in school but want to be challenged further?
This course is aimed at year 5 and 6 children who wish to develop their coding skills above and beyond what they are already studying in the primary school curriculum. It will start on the assumption that they have no text-based coding.
The children will explore Python, Lua, C# and more, learning over time to write applications using familiar forms, buttons, menus and text boxes.
Although the club has started it is still possible to join as the children work at their own pace with the support of the teacher and other students. If your child would like a free taster session, please email email@example.com or call 01727 754113 to reserve a place.
The club is taught by Graham Bridge, a Stemnet Ambassador and Codeclub volunteer.
“My son has absolutely loved coding club and really looks forward to it each week. The teacher Graham is lovely and really interested in helping him progress and nurtures his keen interest in this class.”
