This course is ideal for people interested in learning how to lino print. Used by many artists including Picasso, Matisse and Van Gogh, lino printing is a very effective and versatile way of creating images, especially for beginners. You can create striking pictures without being experienced or confident in art.
After learning how to sketch out and develop your initial ideas you will develop the techniques necessary to produce three step lino reduction prints using cutters and rollers. You will be able to print your own unique images on to paper or fabric to create cards or pictures.
A large sheet of lino will be provided, plus inks, rollers and cutters. You will need to bring your own A3 cartridge paper sketch book, pencils, rubber etc with the option to to buy additional sheets of lino if needed.
